Domain 4: Administer physical, therapeutic, preventive, and end-of-life care:
Nurses provide and manage the patient’s physical care, including personal hygiene, nutrition, hydration, toileting, sleep, and mobility. They lead goal-directed therapeutic and preventative interventions and manage life-sustaining therapies, both routine and complex, tailored to individual patient needs and dynamic response. This includes the care provided to patients (and their families) at end of life.
